We need a cleaner, greener, safer London

My vision is of a Safer, Cleaner, Greener London. A better London for all of its people. A London where people feel safe on the streets. One that is pleasant to live in and good to work in.

It should be easily accessible with good public transport, have plenty of well maintained open spaces. It should be a London where local people make local decisions and everybody feels their voice matters and no one is ignored. We must reach out to the disenchanted, the forgotten and the voiceless.

If elected my priorities would be to:

1) improve our overcrowded and inadequate public transport system

2) ensure that the Olympics benefits the east end to the full both in the construction and in it's legacy

3) put more real police officers on the streets and to improve the training of community support officers

4) put more powers at lower levels of government to take powers from Whitehall to City hall and from the City hall to local Town halls

5) to promote greater recycling across London

6) to protect and enhance green spaces across London and to promote greater access to our waterways for recreation and transport
